As insiders might know Frank Popp has been a steady figure in the release roster of Düsseldorf based label Unique Records and the German music scene in general.
To strengthen bonds Schubert Music Publishing will represent Popp in publishing matters in the future.
Unique Records & Schubert Music Publishing are happy to announce a new album by Frank Popp Ensemble set for April 2025. Including special guests such as Hellacopters’ singer Nicke Andersson, Teenage Fanclub’s Gerry Love & London Soul-Scene starlett Emma Noble.
The first piece of it called “Going Going Gone“ is a soul banger introducing uprising Australian singer-songwriter & Pop genius J Mahon on vocals! It’s reminiscent of certain young Motown artists in the early 70s with its catchy brass hooks and J’s androgynous soul vocals.
“Going Going Gone“ will be released on February 20th, 2025 via Unique records (Believe / Groove Attack).
