Born in Australia J Mahon started his music career very early, signing his first publishing deal at
the age of 18 and quickly becoming a constant character in the Australian music scene.
In 2019 he relocated to Berlin and it didn’t take long until he turned into a must-see-act in the
Berlin music scene working. Having worked with Syd Kemp (Thurston Moore, Ulrika Spacek) &
fashion label Celine as well as with music & fashion photographer Miriam Marlene, J creates work
as forms of diary entries and out of a genuine need to create.
His extraordinary debut “Everything Has A Life” was released in 2023 and contained nothing but Chamber-Pop and Indie bangers, since then Mahon has toured Europe and the UK and performed shows in NYC and LA.
Unique Records & Schubert Music Publishing are happy to collaborate with this extremely talented songwriter in the future.
His next long player „Begin Again, Again” will be released via Unique Records (Believe / Groove Attack / Rough Trade) end of June this year. The very first appetizer „While You’re Travelling“ will be out March 14th, 2025.
